U Street Jam

We are no longer selling ticket on line but you can still buy your ticket at the door. Let's get it on with a party with a purpose featuring some of WPFW's most danceable DJ's . It's the 2nd Annual U-Street Jam - Music courtesy of Scooter Magruder, James Funk, Andrea Bray, Zydeco Cowboy Fred, Rope Flanagan and Kimory Orendoff. Admission is $30 or buy a Table for 10 for $250. 100% of the proceeds go to WPFW. Cash bar and dinner will be available.
There will be a hand dance contest at 10:30 pm with prizes for the first, second and third place couples. Special Guest judges will include: Dennis Higginbothom of The National Hand Dance Association, Lawrence Bradford of The Smooth & Ez Hand Dance Institute, and Rickie Owens of Mama Sita’s Studios.
